Pepsico transfers servicing its corporate fleet to FCS

Effective from September 2009, Pepsico Foods Ukraine Ltd. transfers servicing of its corporate car fleet to FCS.Pepsico is present on Ukrainian market from 1998, and since then the company tried various models to maintain the corporate fleet of vehicles – first using own resources, then with the help of leasing companies. In the mid of 2009, at the height of the financial crisis, the operational scheme and related costs were thoroughly reviewed, and among the number of alternatives it was decided to switch to purchasing vehicles and service them using a specialized fleet management company – FCS.Pavlo Pavlenko, FCS fleet management project manager: «In recent years, Pepsico used to lease vehicles with full service package included. Decreasing quality level and high prices forced the company to reviewing this scheme. Based on financial considerations, it was decided to reject leasing and start buying vehicles, and the fleet management service to be outsourced. Pepsico have selected FCS based on price and recommendations of other companies»
